| This truck was purchased
as gift for me when I was in High School. I saw it for sale in town
and used to draw pictures of how I would like to fix it up. I would
often show my pictures to my brother Mike who always encouraged me. I
came home from a football game one night and my dad handed me a
flashlight and pointed me to a spot in the driveway. There it was, the
truck ! My brother bought it for me as a pure gift. I soon fell more
in love with "ol'Blue " and thought my brother was King of all ken.
The history of the truck is very
interesting. It first belonged to Camp Atterbury in Edinburge,
Indiana. Then Columbus North High School fixed it up as their shop
truck. The interior is full of names scratched in the paint of former
students and old sweethearts.
I plan on restoring it to use as my
daily driver. |
